NEXT MEETING:  WEDNESDAY, MAY 2, 2007 .

 

The April meeting was called to order at 7:40 p.m. by our club President, Jim Stewart.

 

Mitch King opened the meeting by leading the club in the Pledge of Allegiance.  The minutes were read and accepted.  Not all expenses for the annual hunt had been turned in; therefore, the treasurer’s report could not be made with accuracy.

 

There were 23 members and four visitors present.

 

We have one new member.  His name is:  Larry Blair.

 

Everyone is reminded to pay their dues.

 

Larry Cohen and Tim Whitmarsh of the Radio Shack on U.S. 1 in Sebastian presented a program demonstrating White’s Metal Detectors

 

Mitch King said that he has received his finds from Europe and will present a program at the May meeting.

 

Mitch King told everyone about the GREAT SOUTHERN BEACH SHOOTOUT which will be on April 27, 28 , 29 in Daytona Beach .  Contact:  Ray Leist  386-428-3401

 

Linda Crozier said that there will be a speaker at the Satellite Beach Library on Saturday, April 7 at 10:30 a.m. until noon .  He will be talking about the 1715 Fleet.

 

Mitch King gave a quick synopsis about the Annual Benefit Hunt at Hobart Park .  He said it was a great hunt.  He has received a lot of good feedback about it.
