Since it is always so difficult to get a volunteer to bring the cooler and drinks, it was briefly discussed and voted on that the winner of the 50/50 would bring the cooler and drinks. The measure passed by Yeas' 23 Na's 11.
Mitch talked about the Benefit Hunt and explained the different hunts that would happen plus that the money from this hunt is for our operating expenses for the year plus the charities we will be donating to. This will be a "Rain or Shine" event. He also mentioned that TCAS is one of the last clubs in Florida to have an "Open Hunt."
This year's Annual Benefit Hunt is on March 12th with a club clean up hunt on March 5th. Much more on this at next month's meeting.
Mitch also gave up one of his secrets to finding places to hunt. It is very simple: look for places that look like they have been in! Plus, always have a detector with you ready to be used.
