TCAS Monthly Meeting Notes
July 2005
The
meeting was called to order by club president. Richard Hart, Sr. at
LAST
MONTHS minutes were not read OR approved. Instead
Richard asked Mitch King to give dimes to the appropriate people that didn’t
get their dimes at the June meeting.
Richard
made the following announcement:
Adult volunteers with detectors are needed to show kids how to find
treasure on the beach. If
you
have extra detectors, please bring to the hunt.

teaching demonstration and hunt will take place at Golden
Sands Beach on two weekends from

Stewart gave another talk about fossil hunting at

also said that there was an Ais Indian knee cap found at the old site of
Bombardier. He said that wherever
there is an excavation site, it should be checked out.
But, he emphasized that you
should ask for permission from the contractor to hunt those sites.

Hufnagel will bring doughnuts for the August meeting.
