Treasure Coast Archeological Society Meeting
July 7, 2010.
The
next meeting is on Wednesday, August 4, 2010.
The
July meeting was called to order at 7:45 p.m. by Richard Hart, Sr., President of
TCAS.
The
minutes can be read on the club web site which is www.tcas.us.
There
was no treasures report this month.
Attendance:
Members: 22 Guests: 6
Tonights meeting was more of a social event than usual. Everyone talked, voted on the table and had a very nice time.
Due
to the article in the local paper we had plenty of guests. And we also have a
new member:

Mitch
spoke about the newspaper article and the online article. They were about our
club and detecting. He then changed the topic to detecting in other states and
how the laws are changing. In our state Lee county, the cities of Palm Bay and
Vero all have anti-detecting laws. And the Fishers sold their rights to a new
investment group for the 1715 fleet.
Mitch
also wants to plan a club trip in the near future.
Doughnuts
are on Marty, coffee is Ann & Russ, and drinks are Bob’s.
