Treasure Coast Archeological Society Meeting
June 4, 2008
The next meeting is on Wednesday, July 2, 2008.
Marty Hufnagel will bring doughnuts to the meeting. The Martins will bring the drinks.
The June meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. by Richard Hart, Sr., President of TCAS.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Richard Hart II.
The minutes were printed and copies were set out for anyone wanting to review them, also you can read them on the web site. They are also emailed to the members with email addresses on file.
Mary McGee gave the Treasurer¢s report.. She said we have paid for the meeting room at the library for next year and she also spent $1100.00 on silver for next years Big Hunt.
There were 19 members and 4 visitors present.

We haven't made our donation to PAL at this time we will be doing it soon.
We are also looking for ideas for the Christmas Party restaurant unless we have the party at Marsh Landings, again.
Richard Hart spoke of our May 10th beach hunt. We had 14 participants and 6 other members at this hunt. Everyone had a good time and a good lunch. There were some silver coins planted and a token foe a reale. Marty found the token.
Frank Hanson came in 1st place for the most coins found.
Frank Rothery took 2nd place. And Joan Hart came in 3rd place.
Joan Hart was presented Mays find of the month certificate.
Mitch explained the table, voting and the point system for new members and guests.

Amy Talked about the pieces of One competition and explained that some cut pennies into pieces and put them on the beach for who knows what reason in Cocoa and since we are finding them someone will get a prize for finding the most.
A new raffle began at this meeting it has been named The Molasses Raffle and here is why. It is going to run until Decembers Meeting. And only Club Members can buy tickets. Each month a new item will be added to the Raffle. Tickets are being sold for 5 for $5.00 through December. At our Meeting one ticket will be drawn for the prize cache and you must be present to win. If the winner is not at the meeting a 2nd ticket will be drawn and so on until a winner is presented with the Prize.
1st item is a Garrett Ace 250
At our July Meeting Neil Normado will be our speaker and be talking about collecting old bottles.
Everyone was reminded to support Amy with news for the T.C.A.S. MONTHLY.
