 TCAS Monthly Meeting Notes

November 2007

The next meeting is Wednesday, December 5. 2007 .

The TCAS Christmas party will be Sunday, December 16^th at 5:00 p.m. at Marsh Landings in Fellsmere.  There will be a “Chinese Auction” gift exchange.  Suggested price:  $10.00 - $15.00

The November meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. by Jim Stewart, President of TCAS.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Richard Hart, Jr.

The minutes and Treasurer’s report were not read because of the program scheduled.

A list of items for the Scavenger Hunt were on the table for those persons interested in participating.  The Scavenger Hunt ends at the December 5^th meeting.

Richard Hart, Sr. discussed the 4-park hunt that was held on Saturday, November 10, 2007     Some of the prizes for the participants were:

1^st prize:  ACE 250 metal detector

2^nd prize: Silver eagle

3rd 2008 TCAS membership.

Jim Stewart gave another clue for the Token Hunt.  The clue is that it is near fresh water.

Frank Rothery introduced two guests from Minelab USA .  They were:

Rob Westrick, a marine archeologist gave a very interesting program about Florida ’s Golden Galleons.  He passed some of his finds around.  The program was very interesting and informative.
